In this kiln we used  well-studied and proven principle ofraw materials indirect heating, which is being successfully used inthe CK EURO since 2009, and means  we do not move the rawmaterials from chamber to chamber, we only move the process. Thatprovides high performance at relatively low cost. Formed pyrolysisproducts are burned in the fire chamber, guaranteeing the absenceof emissions. The main elements of the kiln are:

  1. Fire chamber CK "EURO" 1 pc.
  2. Drying/pyrolysis/cooling chamber 3 pcs., CK “Ugolkov” with CK“EURO” heat pipes
  3. The chimney of 10 rm
  4. Channels with slide dampers: a furnace-chamber,chamber-chamber, chamber- chimney
  5. Charcoal unloading hatches
  6. Hatches for raw materials loading and charcoalunloading 
  7. Control and measuring devices

The kiln construction includes 3 modes:

  1. Charcoal cooling and unloading; Loading of raw material forpyrolysis
  2. Drying
  3. Pyrolysis

By means of valves it is possible to set the necessary modeinside each chamber (1, 2 or 3). Raw materials are loaded into thechamber with the mode set to "1" , i.e. in fact, this chamber isdisconnected from the heating system, let’s suppose that thiscamera has number 3 (see Figure 1). Coolant formed during thecombustion of pyrolysis products goes along the channel from thefire chamber and gets to the chamber 1 with the set mode “3”,providing necessary temperature for pyrolysis process. Then thecoolant flows along the heat pipes into the chamber 2 with the setmode "2", providing drying of raw materials. After that coolantresidues get into a chimney. After completion of the "pyrolysis"process, the mode “1” is set in the chamber 1, while the chamber 2is transferred from the mode "2" to the mode "1". After the loadingwas finished the chamber 3 is transferred from the mode “1” to themode "3". After the charcoal was completely cooled down in thechamber 1 with the mode "1" charcoal is unloaded from it.
